— Getting here
How do I get there from Blaine?
From Blaine the drive is west, across Coon Rapids. Coon Rapids Boulevard runs northwest through the middle of the city and Round Lake Boulevard climbs north off it; Northdale Blvd NW is the cross street a short way up. If you are coming down the west side of Blaine instead, Highway 10 meets the same corner of the city from the north. Parking is free in front of the door, which is marked 3183B.

— Recovery
What should I book after a tournament weekend?
Sports massage — 60 min, $110, with a licensed massage therapist. It works on circulation, muscle tension and flexibility, and it is usually booked around hard physical activity rather than as a one-off.
Deep tissue costs the same and does a different job: slower, deeper, aimed at one or two areas you can point to. Hot stone is $110 for 60 min and $150 for 90 min, and the heat gets muscles to let go faster than hands alone manage. The whole massage menu runs $95 to $150.
Sports, deep tissue or relaxation
Book sports massage if you are training, deep tissue if there is a knot with an address, and relaxation if the point is an hour of quiet. Relaxation is $95 for 60 min and $135 for 90 min. You set the pressure out loud during the appointment — deep tissue should feel like a good ache and never like pain.
For the ones in the bleachers
Blaine's rinks and fields run long weekends, and three games' worth of standing on concrete leaves its own mark on a back. The NCCIH includes massage among the approaches studied for pain and function — their page on pain sets out what that covers. Ninety minutes of relaxation massage is $135.
— Head spa
Is a head spa any use if you wear a helmet all winter?
Yes. Helmets, hats and hoods press sweat, oil and product down into the scalp for months at a time, and a shampoo at a basin lifts very little of it back out. A head spa spends 60 min on the scalp itself: staged deep cleansing, exfoliation around the follicles, a long scalp massage, then serums and a blow-dry. $130, or $152 where hair is longer or thicker.
The massage runs across the scalp, the neck and the shoulders, and it takes up a large share of the hour rather than the ninety seconds a salon basin allows.
Two tables, one room
Both head spa tables sit in one joinable room, divided by a full-height privacy curtain when you want it divided. Two people book the same slot — a couple, two friends, or a parent and a grown-up kid after a season of six o'clock ice.
The nearest one to Blaine
No head spa operates inside Blaine city limits, so the closest table is west across Coon Rapids, on Northdale Blvd NW. That was true when this page was checked in September 2026.
— Timing
When are you open around a Saturday tournament?
Saturdays, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, the same as Monday and Wednesday through Friday. Sunday runs noon to 5 PM. Tuesday is a full closure, and that is the one people get caught by.
Book online or call (763) 317-6018. The head spa room is the part of the schedule that fills first, so a few days' notice helps; the longer treatments take a $30 to $60 card deposit that comes off the total.
— Skin & the rest
Do you do facials and waxing as well?
Both, out of the same studio. Facials start at $60 for a 25 min Refresh Express and run through customized facials at $135, anti-aging at $150, chemical peels and dermaplaning from $70, and microneedling at $260.
Brows and waxing sit on the same menu. A brow wax and tint together is $36, a lash lift is $96, and body waxing runs $18 to $80 depending on the area.
Combinations, when an hour is not enough
Four of them, and two open with the scalp work. The one built for a body that has been training is Korean head spa and body massage — 85 min, $185, scalp and shoulders first and the full-body work after. The rest are on the menu page.
What kinds of massage do you offer?
+
Four: relaxation (60 or 90 minutes), deep tissue (60), hot stone (60 or 90) and sports (60). Prices run from $95 to $150, and a licensed massage therapist performs all of them.
Who is the sports massage for?
+
People who train. It works on circulation, muscle tension and range of movement, and is usually booked around hard sessions or events.
Relaxation or deep tissue — which should I book?
+
Book relaxation if the goal is to switch off, deep tissue if there is a specific knot you can point to. Relaxation uses long, even strokes at a pressure that stays comfortable throughout; deep tissue works slower and deeper into one or two areas, and it is normal for that to feel like a good ache.
What does a hot stone massage add?
+
Heat. Warmed stones are worked over the muscles so they let go faster than hands alone manage, which suits shoulders and backs that have been braced against a Minnesota winter. Sixty minutes is $110 and ninety is $150.
And afterwards?
+
Drink water, move gently, and leave hard training for later in the day if you feel worked on. Soreness the next morning is normal after deep tissue.
How much does a head spa cost in Coon Rapids?
+
$130 for the 60 min Korean–Japanese Head Spa, and $152 if your hair is longer or thicker — that second price is not a surcharge for being difficult, it is a longer appointment. Combinations start at $185. A $30 deposit holds the booking and comes off the final bill.
What are your hours?
+
Mon, Wed–Sat 10 AM–6:30 PM · Sun 12–5 PM · Closed Tuesday. The Tuesday closure is the one people get caught by, so it is worth repeating: the studio is closed all day Tuesday.

— Research & references
Massage is the best-documented treatment on this menu. The NCCIH lists it among the approaches studied for pain, stress and sleep, and the AMTA sets out where the research is strongest: the NCCIH on massage therapy , pain , sleep , the AMTA on massage and pain relief and on stress and mental health . General references on massage therapy, not claims about a specific outcome from a specific appointment. Treatments at Fiona's Day Spa are wellness and beauty services. They are not medical care and they do not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If you have a scalp, skin or health concern, see a physician or a dermatologist.
